Race Day Information 2020

It’s not too late to join us on race morning! You can sign up online, or pay in person (bring cash). 

Please arrive by 9:15 to get your race packet. Parking information is below.

race day map for emailParking: From Hwy 43 (South State Street) turn East onto Ladd Street (at light). Park along Ladd, Furnace (turn South), or (turn West) onto Green Street. Once parked, walk down towards the Willamette River to the old Lake Oswego Furnace for registration.  There are approximately 70 parking spots near George Rogers Park on Green Street. And, an additional 50 spots along Ladd Street and Furnace Street, which is one street North of Green Street.
Registration
If you pre-registered, you may pick up your packet starting at 8:45 AM on Jan 1.

  • Online registration can be found at runsignup.com. 
  • Or bring $35 cash onsite (no checks accepted).

There are restrooms with flushing toilets.
Packets
Packets are grouped according to last name. If you registered as a family, all of the bibs will be contained within the same packet. New registrants will be asked to sign a release for taking pictures. These pictures will be posted on our website, and may be used in the future. Please support our sponsors who have have generously donated to this event.

Hats
If you registered by December 21st, your Micro Marathon hat will come in your race bag along with your bib and safety pins. 

Race
This is a fun run! Please line up according to how you predict to finish. If you are fast –step to the front. Or, if you plan to walk, move towards the back of the group. This is an open course, meaning there may be other people, bikers, and cars on the path. Please be respectful of others. We will have a brief overview of the race course at 9:55AM. The race will not be chip-timed, but awards will be given for first place in each age and gender group. There will be varying levels of experience and abilities. Some areas will have cones in the middle of the path for narrow areas.

Course
The race course is out and back. The start is at the top of the hill at George Rogers and goes South along the Willamette River behind (the former) Marylhurst University. You will turn around just before you get to West Linn. Encourage other participants! Beware of traffic. You will finish at George Rogers Park under the arch. Please be courteous of the runners on their way back.

Awards
There are first place awards for age groups for both men and women (13 and Under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-49, 50-69, 70+). The top runners for each age group will be posted online. There will be chocolate medallions as you cross the finish.
